Nothing starts the day off right like a great cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast. Here are a couple of our go-to spots:

1. Calioh Coffee

Calioh Coffee is more than just coffee - It's about community. They pride themselves in amazing customer service and a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Their cozy vibe is perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done.

2. Coffee A La Mode

This charming café serves up not only rich, flavorful coffee but also some of the best breakfast bites in town. Whether you’re in the mood for a warm croissant or a hearty avocado toast, this welcoming cafe is the perfect blend of comfort and community.

3. Ubatuba Acai

A local favorite for a refreshing bowl. Whether you're craving a healthy snack or refreshing treat, this spot never disappoints.

Sometimes, all you need is a little fresh air. Luckily, our community is filled with beautiful parks and scenic trails where you can take a stroll, have a picnic, or just enjoy nature. 

1. Happy Camp Rustic Canyon

Explore 12.5 miles of scenic trails across 3,000 acres of wilderness. Open to equestrians, hikers, and mountain bikers, this park offers a perfect escape into nature.

2. Mammoth Highlands Park

This 6.5-acre park features a basketball court, tennis court, hiking trail, picnic area, and breathtaking views. A great spot for outdoor fun, and dogs are welcome too!

3. Arroyo Vista Community Park

Covering 69 acres, this park boasts a wide range of amenities and hosts several events throughout the year. Open from 6 AM to 10 PM, it’s a great place for recreation, and dogs are welcome on leash as well!

Looking for something fun that the whole family can enjoy?

1. Underwood Family Farms

This local treasure is a favorite among families. From pick-your-own produce to petting zoos and seasonal festivals, there’s always something happening at Underwood Family Farms. Whether you're there for the pumpkin patch in the fall or strawberry picking in the spring, it’s a fun and wholesome way to spend the day.

2. America’s Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College

Located on the Moorpark College campus, this unique five-acre zoo is home to over 150 animals. Run by students in the Exotic Animal Training and Management (EATM) program, the zoo offers interactive wildlife shows and up-close encounters with fascinating animals. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 11 AM to 5 PM, it’s a great place to learn and explore!

3. Moorpark Country Club

For those who love golf, Moorpark Country Club offers three challenging nine-hole courses, a driving range, and a top-notch dining experience. Whether you're perfecting your swing or just enjoying a relaxing evening, the club is open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM. 

When the sun goes down, the fun begins! Here are a couple of our favorite places for a fun night in town after a long day:

1. Lucky Strike Bowling Alley

Classic fun with a modern twist! Lucky Strike is more than just bowling—it’s an entire experience with great food, craft cocktails, arcade, and music that keeps the energy high. Perfect for a fun date night, group outing, or even family night.

3. The Craft House

From mouthwatering entrees to decadent desserts, every dish is crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just indulging in a well-deserved meal, this is the place to be.
